The Bajkul Milani Mahavidyalaya is located in Medinipur, West Bengal, India. BMM Howrah Howrah is a private college that was founded in 1964. UG Courses:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 examinations or equivalent from any recognised state and central boards/councils of India to be eligible for honours courses.
• The merit in the honours course is calculated by taking 10% of the total marks obtained in the best five subjects, including English and Bengali/Hindi (excluding environmental studies), as well as the marks obtained in the subject for which admission is sought.
• Merit in the general course is calculated by adding the best five subjects' marks (excluding environmental studies).
• A candidate must have passed two language subjects, one of which must be English.
• Candidates for economics, physics, and chemistry must have studied and passed mathematics in Class12.
• Candidates applying for the nutrition course must have biology and chemistry in Class 12 or nutrition with biology or chemistry.

PG Courses:

• At the postgraduate level, the college offers three regular two-year courses. Admission to 60 per cent of total seats in each course will be based solely on the candidate's performance in the Vidyasagar University's final BA (H)/B.Sc (H) examinations. A merit list is compiled from the VU candidates.
• Admission to the remaining 40% of seats will be made through the open competition after considering 50% of the merit in the college's PG Entrance Examination and 50% of the merit in the final BA (H)/B.Sc (H) examinations. Candidates from other universities are welcome to apply in this category.
• Candidates applying for the entrance exam must have completed their final exams with a minimum of 45 per cent in BA and 50 per cent in B.Sc.
• Candidates from the reserved categories are given a 5% discount.
• Individual counselling will be held for both categories, with final admission granted after payment of the required fee.
